ON THE ROAD... NORTH AMERICA
is 2 games in 1. The cards are printed with standard playing card symbols which means that you can use them to play any card game from Pontoon to Poker.
The bulk of each card, however, is given over to a trivia quiz about Canada and the United States. There are questions about famous places, tourist attractions, geography, music, film, TV, history, politics, food, sport and much more. The King, Queen and Jack cards are picture cards. They feature well-known North American people and animals as well as natural wonders and man-made marvels.
The questions are graded into five levels of difficulty from the easiest questions worth 1 point up to the more difficult five point questions for the quizmeisters amongst you. Your opponent will tell you which category card you have and you will be able to choose a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 point question accordingly. The winner is the first person to score 21 points!
Here are some sample questions from the game:
For one point, which actor has played Gilbert Grape, Jack Sparrow and Willy Wonka?
For two points, in which city can you shop at 'Macys' and 'Bloomingdales'?
For three points, which American state is farthest from Washington, DC?
