The On The Road… series started life as a few cut-out cards, with one question on each card, made for Gill's sister who was spending her redundancy money on a trip round the world. A few years later it has evolved into a series of fun and informative travel games.
Our starting point was the pack of cards many people take with them on their travels and holidays. We developed our cards to incorporate standard playing card symbols, so that any card game can be played with them. The bulk of each card, though, is given over to a trivia quiz with each pack focusing on a particular area of the world.
Quiz categories include Tourist Information, Places, History and Politics, Culture, Miscellaneous and Picture Cards. There are five questions on each card and they are graded according to difficulty, which means the game can be played at different levels and everybody can have fun showing what they know as well as learning new things about their travel destinations.
Each On The Road… game consists of two packs of cards which come in a compact and sturdy box which will fit neatly into travel bags or Christmas stockings. The perfect present for yourself or the travel lovers in your life.
